I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with Depression, Anxiety, Postpartum Depression, and other mental health challenges. I received a Master of Social Work Degree from the School of Social Work at Florida International University in Miami, Florida in addition to receiving my Certificate in Addictions from the same institution. I have extensive experience in providing treatment for anxiety, depression, substance abuse/addiction, anger management, and parental stress. I have been practicing for over 16 years with community based organizations serving in roles as outpatient mental health therapist, residential substance abuse therapist providing individual and group therapy for adult patients and community based therapist. During my career, I have specific training in supporting parents and children (birth to 5years) by fostering healthy parent-child attachment. I provide psychotherapy for young adults (ages 18-24), adults ), and the elderly (ages 65+) utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, client centered therapy models. I have assessed older adults with transitions of aging to managing their emotions developing support systems/activities. Clients can expect an understanding, supportive and comfortable environment through Telehealth.
